Refurbishment of top floor Wandsworth townhouse creating bedroom with walk-in wardrobe/dressing room, study/library and spacious wet room.

The brief we were given was to create an homogenous, comfortable and practical living/working space for a young professional living at home with her parents.

The two existing bedrooms were transformed into a calm and restful bedroom space, with walk-in wardrobe/dressing room to the front of the house and a vibrant study area, overlooking the garden, to the rear.

Carpets were removed throughout and the existing floorboards refurbished and made-to-measure woollen rugs installed to both rooms. We were able to create both a stimulating and practical study space through designing and installing extensive, bespoke bookcases with printing, mini-fridge and tea & coffee facilities. A large central desk plus an adjustable standing desk at the window completes the self-contained working environment.

The final element of the project was to transform a dark landing area & a long and narrow bathroom into a bright, modern and characterful wet room, incorporating new entrance door, vanity unit and mirror, shower enclosure plus heated towel rail and traditional cast-iron radiator.

The project was fully brought together by the careful curation of all furniture, furnishings, lighting, bathroom fitments & accessories.
